Prerequisites:
- Certified as PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or hold a qualifying certification)
- Certified as PADI Enriched Air Diver (Nitrox) or equivalent
- Certified as PADI Deep Diver or proof of at least 10 dives to 30 meters / 100 feet
- Minimum of 30 logged dives, with at least 10 dives deeper than 18 meters / 60 feet, using enriched air nitrox
- At least 18 years old
- Medical form signed by a physician within the last 12 months
