We can offer you a variety of over 40 different dive sites including some well known highlights such as the Banana Reef, Barracuda Giri, Victory Wreck, Paradise Rock, Rainbow Giri, Lion’s Head, Old Shark Point, and of course seasonal Manta Points like Lankan Reef and Furana.

During your PADI Instructor training you have access to some great dive sites. The house reef and lagoon are excellent conditions for training. Plus during your specialty training we will have the opportunity to visit some of the best dive sites around and do some exciting deep, dpv and night dives etc.

Dive Bandos is one of the best dive centres in the Maldives. As one of the longest established centres in the country, our professional staff ensure that you have a great experience in total safety and comfort. We have a dedicated conference area for the IDC. It is a spacious facility complete with air-conditioned audio visual classroom, Wi-Fi, library, hot water showers, and storage rooms. Accommodation for IDC interns is in the conference room area.

The dive center is equipped with well maintained Scubapro equipment, ZUEX Diver Propulsion Vehicles, digital cameras and opens up to the lagoon for easy access to our water training sessions.

On-site there is also a hyperbaric chamber with European hyperbaric doctor. Your IDC will include an orientation of the hyperbaric chamber during our Emergency First Response Instructor course.

Dive Bandos has the best facilities in Maldives for your PADI Instructor training.

Bandos has a total of 215 rooms, comprising of Classic Rooms, Standard Rooms, Deluxe Rooms, Garden Villas, Jacuzzi Beach Villas, Jacuzzi Pool Villa and Water Villas. During your PADI instructor training we offer great deals on accommodation. During your PADI IDC classic rooms are reduced to just $180 USD per night (rates are inclusive of accommodation, full board meals, Green tax, 10% service charge and 12% T-GST) Combined transfer will be free of charge. You can also upgrade to more luxurious accommodation.

During your PADI Dive instructor internship on Bandos Island, shared air con, hot water accommodation at our education facility is $30 USD per night.

Bandos Island is in North Male atoll, a short boat ride from the international airport. Included in your stay is pick up from the airport and transfer to the island. You can meet our staff at our Bandos Island information desk at the airport and they will take you to the boat pier. It is a 15 minute scenic trip on our speed boat. Upon arrival you will be met at our reception and given an orientation to the resort facilities.
