Julien is a PADI Course Director and Tec Instructor Trainer and he teaches Dive-Careers' Technical Diver training programmes across our worldwide diving network - and he's loving it!
Julien is born in France, though he has been living everywhere but in France for the past 16 years. He's been diving for 12 years, and since he enjoys travelling, has been exploring the underwater world in California, Cambodia, Cuba, Dominican Republic, France, India, Malaysia, Mexico, Philippines, Senegal, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Thailand... And taught hundreds of courses in the process.
He can teach courses in English, French and German - and guide divers in Spanish, Tamil or Hindi as well. Training professionals, being Divemasters, Assistant Instructors or EFRI instructors, is something he loves, as he enjoys sharing tips and tricks about the job and teaching strategies - but Technical Diving courses is one of his not-so-secret passions, which a special weakness for Sidemount, Cave Diving, Deep and Trimix Diving.
Technical diving is a way of pushing limits, learning more, and becoming a better, safer diver - more than an adrenaline kick, it provides a way to keep progressing, keep learning, and explore new aspects of scuba diving. Some people hate diving theory - Julien is definitely not one of them, and will know no mercy: after enjoying a full day in the sun carrying gear and exploring the depths in all conditions, he won't mind spending hours discussing everything about the scientific, historical and technical background of diving, until your head (or his) spins.
Dive-careers' team offers a wide range of PADI TecRec Scuba Diving courses, at both student and instructor level. By participating to one of our courses you will not only increase your skills as a diver, but also open the possibility to become an instructor for these courses as well.
