Pre-requisites:

  1. Be at least 18 YEARS OLD
  2. Be certified as a diver for a MINIMUM SIX MONTHS
  3. Have 60 LOGGED DIVES that include experience in night, deep and navigation
  4. Have a MINIMUM 100 LOGGED DIVES before sitting the (IE) Instructor Exam
  5. Be fit for diving and submit a medical statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months
  6. Have proof of CPR and First Aid training within the last 24 months (the PADI EFR course meets this requirement)

These fees are payable directly to PADI by credit card in Australian Dollars (excludes GST)

  • PADI Instructor Application Fee – $350 AUD
  • Instructor Exam (IE) Fee – $1,190 AUD
  • EFR Instructor Application Fee – $252 AUD
