The Pro underwater videographer course is based in El Nido, Palawan, Philippines, a truly beautiful setting and top diving destination. You will dive around the many tropical islands outside of Bacuit bay. El Nido has a high number of rich dive sites including healthy coral reef, muck dives and wall diving. Marine life is abundant from big school of jack fish, batfish or yellow snapper to flamboyant cuttlefish, frogfish and ghost pipefish.

EL NIDO PALAWAN UNDERWATER VIDEOGRAPHER COURSE PRE-REQUISITES

Minimum requirement for this course: PADI advanced open water or equivalent with 60 dives

UNDERWATER VIDEOGRAPHER COURSE CONTENT

This 15-day course starts from the beginning and keeps adding skills whilst you get used to diving with a camera. After every day of diving we create a 3-minute movie of your footage set to music. As your skill set gets bigger, your videos get better! By the end of the 21 dives, you will have the foundation knowledge to film your own professional short movies. To complete the course you will also create a showreel to show off your best shots to friends, family and potential employers. This course is solely about filming techniques, editing practices and filming the ocean and its life.

We provide professional HD video cameras with Aquatica housings and also a computer system for learning editing practices. The course is sanctioned by PADI; therefore, at the end of the course you will receive an official PADI certification card.

UNDERWATER VIDEOGRAPHER COURSE DURATION & STRUCTURE

The Pro videographer course is an intensive 15-day training including 21 dives, 7 diving days, 7 editing days and theory sessions. As a PADI Distinctive specialty, it is compulsory to read the manual and answer the knowledge reviews in order to be certified.
