TEC 50

What is covered in Tec 50?

PADI Tec 50 completes your entry-level technical training:

• Dive up to 50 meters with two decompression gases
• Conduct extended, multi-stop decompression dives; gas-switching for safety
• Learn to plan and execute your own technical dives
• Prepare for moving into advanced tech and rebreather (CCR) training

Prerequisites:

• Certified as PADI Tec 45 Diver
• Minimum number of technical dives (typically at least a few decompression dives with multiple gases)
• At least 18 years old
• Medical form signed by a physician
