PADI IDC STAFF : HIMMAFUSHI

OVERVIEW:

The IDC Staff Instructor course on Himmafushi is an ideal launchpad for professionals seeking advanced teaching, management, and leadership roles in the dive industry, powered by elite mentorship and global career connections.

What does the IDC Staff Instructor course focus on?

The course is designed to refresh your understanding of PADI standards, deepen your knowledge of teaching techniques, and update your marketing skills. You’ll learn to evaluate instructor candidates, support IDC sessions, and confidently schedule and market Assistant Instructor courses.

How is staff training different from my own IDC experience?

Staff Instructor training allows you to pick up vital insights and skills you may have missed during your own IDC, now without the pressure of passing the instructor exam. You can focus on advanced evaluation, candidate counseling, and the nuances of instructor development, leading to lasting professional growth.

Does this qualification increase my career opportunities?

Absolutely. As a Staff Instructor, you become eligible for senior roles such as base leader, cruise director, and dive center manager. The IDC Staff rating is also your first step towards becoming a PADI Course Director—the highest professional level in the PADI system—opening more doors to global opportunities in dive education and management.

What makes Mark Soworka and Adam Ashraf ideal trainers for IDC Staff Instructor?

Mark Soworka is renowned worldwide for his Platinum Course Director status and decades of instructor development leadership; Adam Ashraf brings deep local experience as a Platinum-rated professional in the Maldives. Together, their training provides modern teaching strategies, beach-marketing insights, and access to their extensive global dive network for job placement and mentorship.
